The Sampling Merchandiser will be responsible for :

• To supervise the making of design sample with sampling department as per the
final tech pack received from design department. Alongside prepare the tentative
cost sheet for the sample.
• To supervise the correction/improvisation of design samples basis the feedback
of design selection meeting till final sample is approved along with costing.
• Basis the final approved sample & tech pack from designer, to get the grading of
patterns, khaka done from sampling/grading team.
• Preparing production docket and handing over to production team – Prepares
production file with details documents, approvals, samples, trims and swatches
and comments on sample from designer.
• To prepare product line sheet document specifying details of each style.
• Coordination with production team if any clarification is required during production.
• Supervising the sampling floor and ensuring efficiency of sampling department in
close coordination with Designer and Production team.

• Experience in production merchandising
• Have a flair for communicating with diverse set of people & Vendors
• Efficient in planning and follow up (Time and action calendar)
• Ability in sourcing Trims, Fabrics, Leather, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Good interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
• Good negotiation skills
