• Responsible for scanning and tracing of artworks every season keeping quality of tracing in check
• Finding suitable vendors and Testing new fabrics thoroughly before the season starts
• Archiving of previous season’s artworks and patterns every season in required folders
• An eye to recognize and rectify technical issues in printed fabric

Sampling

• Responsible for making accurate digital color chips across fabrics as per the color stories given by the design team
• Scanning of patterns and placing the artwork on actual pattern in the right proportion to make the final digital file
• Maintaining a tracker for fabric consumption and reissuing of fabrics to the vendors before they get over
• Coordinating with the pattern master to make sure layout of placement works
• Responsible for final printed blocks in actual color combination and proportions before the final sample
• Training of digital softwares to the team

Production

• Grading of digital files in all sizes for handing over to the production team
• Handing over approved printed colored swatch in actual fabric to the production team
• Approving final printed production colors across fabrics before production go ahead
• Layouting of pattern on the final fabric for controlling fabric average in production

Total 8-10 years of work experience as designer with fashion brand

• Graduate/Diploma in Apparel Graphic design
• Should have technical knowledge of Adobe photoshop, illustrator and Coral Draw
• Very good technical knowledge on garments & textiles
• Good managerial & ownership skills
